About

I’m so excited to share my creations with you! Painting is a therapeutic and spiritual process of coming home to myself. I’ve been creating and sharing my art since I was young in Detroit, but I’ve continued my artistic journey in Los Angeles since 2010, where the contrast between urban life and the serenity of nature—whether it’s the vast Pacific Ocean or the rugged mountain ranges—deeply inspires me.
As a yoga and meditation teacher, world traveler, cultural anthropologist, and psychotherapist, I approach my work with a deep sense of intuition, allowing the natural world to guide me. I paint outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of nature, either in my backyard in the city or in the quiet vastness of the desert. My favorite rituals include hiking and collecting treasures like feathers, leaves, tree bark, and twigs, which I alchemize into my paintings, blending organic elements with colorful paint to create unique textures.
My creative process is also deeply influenced by the shamanic traditions of indigenous cultures around the world, which have taught me to view art as a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms. These wisdom traditions have shaped my relationship with ritual, nature, and spirit, and infuse each piece with reverence and intention.
Before I begin each painting, I create a ceremony with lavender or sage to clear the energy around me, inviting spirit to flow through the work. Each painting is a spontaneous expression, created in the moment—never planned and never to be recreated. This collection reflects my deep reverence for nature, the beauty and complexity of human relationships, and the sacred connection we all share with the earth. My work is a reminder to honor ourselves and the world around us, recognizing the sacredness in everything.
